This is the largest known building of the Pécs early Christian cemetery to date. Its name derives from its seven apses, a unique feature amongst early Christian buildings. Originally it probably served some funereal function, although no graves have been found and its walls are undecorated. It was either built at the end of the 4th, or early in the 5th Century.
