| Good performance of Pécs hotels in the ECC year |

On the basis of KSH (Central Statistic Bureau) MSZSZ (Hungarian Hotels Association) examined the hotels’ performance in the European Capital of Culture Pécs, in the period from January to August 2010. Index figures for the first eight months have been compared to the corresponding period from 2009 as well as to the Hungarian average data.

| Number of visitors in Pécs growing |

The number of visitors declining since 2002 has now experienced a reverse. According to KSH (Hungarian Central Statistics Bureau), 55 791 guests have stayed at commercial accommodations in the first 6 months of the year, which means a 7.7% increase compared to the past years. Regarding guest nights (103 800), the increase amounts to 7.6%.

| ‘Zsolnay’s Golden Age’ - Exhibition Opening in Pécs |

The exhibition entitled „Zsolnay’s Golden Age” was opened on September 1st 2010, introducing art collector László Gyugyi’s Zsolnay porcelain collection to the public in the European Capital of Culture Pécs. These six hundred art pieces were created in the most determinant era of the Zsolnay factory and represent outstanding value. The collection awaits its visitors in the Sikorski Villa, a building designed genuinely for this purpose, in the newly built Zsolnay Cultural Quarter.

According to a report published by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on September 2nd 2010, international tourist arrivals have increased by 7% in the first half of 2010. An interim update on UNWTO World Tourism Barometer entitled ‘Trends and Perspectives in Tourism’ was presented on the 4th UNWTO/PATA Forum in China on September 2-4th 2010.
